Gratitude for the Hands of Help Reaching Out

Last week, I wrote of how the world is full of good people. I am loving how I am experiencing that more and more each day.

I have just finished replying to a lot of emails.

It’s amazing how you can be friends with people you have never met, but only interacted with online, and that interaction is with an avatar.

You have no idea what they look like in real life or sound like, but you know their hearts are full of goodness and light and that is enough to for you to know that you treasure them.

I have had so many emails come through congratulating us on the birth of Savannah, which is so touching when it comes from people who are practically strangers, yet feel like they are part of your family.

And now that Craig is in New Zealand and I am at home alone with my two girls, I have been so touched by the emails and messages I have received from readers asking me how I am coping and if there is anything they can do.

That is just so beautiful and makes me so happy that I involved myself in blogging. The community is simply amazing. Understanding hands reach out from so many places, including those from many family and friends, who I don’t want to leave off with my profound gratitude.

Thank you, your words have really boosted my spirits and often come at the right moment when I needed to hear them.

I”m off to the airport today to pick Craig up. Hopefully some of my sanity will now be restored.

I’m grateful for these people too, including you! You reached out to me the other night when I was having my own challenges, and it helped, thank you. I bet Craig was glad to get home to his family also!

I am grateful for so many things! I am so grateful for my blogs, where I can share my personal life and stories with other like minded people.

Most of all I am grateful for my boys. They teach me everyday in many ways the person I am meant to be. This year has been all about discovering what our family life is really about. We have been on a huge learning curve, with a change of lifestyle, and a change of parenting skills. Every day I am grateful that I get to watch my boys grow, and teach me how to be a better Mum.

    Cheers
    Lisa
PS – so happy that you get to pick up Craig from the airport!
