How to overcome overwhelm in business
Growing your own business can shroud you in a burqa of doubt and fear. You never know what’s going to work and the eternal system of trial and error can send you running for the I quit or the I’m going insane door.
I’ve narrowly escaped both of them since starting our business in 2010.
Just this morning, I happened upon some old images from the beginning of our blog which deeply reflected that I was completely clueless when it came to running and growing a business. I shudder at the messages I was sending out and the time I was wasting in mistakes.
If only I knew back then what I do now. I just wish I had it right from the start, I would have saved thousands in dollars and time. One of the most empowering things about doing B-School last year is those muddy waters no longer linger. The hard work is still there, and the trial and error is still a small part of it (yet now controlled), but I have a very clear path and systems that help me in place.
Overwhelm has gone because I know where to focus, who to delegate to, and the best way to get my message across.
It’s incredible how productive you can be and how great your work will be when you overcome overwhelm and get some clarity in your business.
