How to create the life your soul yearns for

Are you stuck in a world that you hate, or one that just doesn’t feel right?

Do you feel a little like the Princess and the Pea? You can’t quite work out what to do, but you feel the constant prodding saying there’s something better for you.

You keep adding on mattresses hoping to remove the discomfort. Those mattresses can take the form of various disguises: alcohol, cigarettes, shopping, empty ambition, limiting thoughts, self-doubt, endless tears, and depression.

However the pain and prodding never leaves.

If only you just dip a little deeper beyond the mattress, you’ll find the pea, and understand more deeply what it is your soul wants you to do.

The truth is you already know. It’s been whispering quietly to you since you were born.

But the mattresses you layered on top of it made it harder for you to pay attention.

I buried it for years under, “You’re so crap. You’re not good enough. Only special people get to live the life their soul yearns for. You’re just not special. You’ll fail and look stupid.”

God what a beating, I used to give myself. I managed to overcome these self-doubts though to live the sacred expression of myself.

The yearning of your soul is the true path of your freedom and contribution. It’s the place of sacredness – the special something only you can contribute. If you step into this sacredness then your ultimate dream life will appear- peace and happiness will follow.

For the next five weeks, I’ll be sharing some of the key turning points for me in learning to step into that sacredness and create the life my soul yearned for.

A life of travel.

A life of freedom, adventure, discovery, constant change, new directions and contribution.

I never thought I was good enough, yet I learned I could do it anyway.

And you can too.

I give myself repeated beatings, but I never own up to doing so! I’m looking forward to your posts, I know I have a truer purpose out there and I can’t wait to find it…or be brave enough to look for it.
P.S. You are looking gorgeous! Your new life is certainly agreeing with you!

Be brave Val, you have so much to offer. I think when we own the beatings we can work on evaporating them

For me, the “I suck” thoughts come up more when I have success. I feel like the success is going to disappear any second because I don’t really “deserve it.”

Oh yes. Know that place. You’ve really got to work on believing that you deserve it. I know how hard it is, it’s a constant work in progress for me. Check out http://www.thetappingsolution.com/ It’s a really simple technique that might be able to help.

No worries. I need to use it a lot more than I have. I’ve find it has helped in some situations but not others. I’m going to change my approach!
