Blog: Corbett Barr

I had been following Corbett’s Think Traffic site for a couple of weeks before I noticed his personal site Corbett Barr “Encouragement and Know-how for Advenurous Entrepreneurs.” He offers great food for thought articles to help keep you on track to achieving your dreams.

Fave Article of the Week:

This is a post dear to my heart writtten by my good friend Adam Seper over at Boots and All

21 Reasons to Travel the World With Kids

As someone who has to constantly bear the “You’re a selfish parent” looks and subtle snide remarks about living a life of travel with my daughter, i absolutely love reading this post. I know what I know, and travel offers nothign but great gifts for ourselves and our children.

Song of the Week: Peaches and Cream

John Butler Trio is one of my favourite Australian artists. Craig and I had the pleasure of seeing him up close and personal in a small intimate bar in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. It was awesome.

Peaches and Cream is one of my favourite songs, and now that the arrival of my new baby is getting closer I am listening to it more. John Butler wrote this song about the birth of his little girl and how it changed his world. It’s beautiful

For she came and landed in my arms and filled my half empty cup

Pantene Pro-V Nature Fusion

I was recently asked to trial the Pantene Pro V Nature Fusioon Shampoo and Conditioner. The new range is is s infused with cassia flower derevied essence, the new ingredient proven to deliver healthy hair, strengthening and portecting the hair shaft. Each strand therefore, becoming ore conditioned and stronger against hair breakage. It also contains avocado oil. grapeseed extract adn bamboo.

I have been using it for over a week now and I do enjoy the results. My hair does feel a little smoother and softer and doesn’t feel as dry. So, it gets a thumbs up from me!

Enchantment By Guy Kawasaki

I have not yet read this latest release by Guy Kawasaki but I am dying to get my hands on it. I have listened to two interviews with him this past week where he discusses the ideas in teh book and how they relate to social media and blogging. I love it.

I’ve learned a lot from his sage wisdom and it has affirmed to me that what Craig and I have been doing with our online work is right on track. It is always uplifting to know that you are not alone in what you believe is the best way to engage and enchant people. Namaste has a lot to do with it.

Namaste to you.

Caz – your daughter is tres beautiful…such a sunny face 🙂
What a great post…It’s always nice to review the week and notice the highlights.
For me…the school holidays have been so much fun. I have just enjoyed having my little minions with me all the time and feeling so connected to them. Also, having a week free of clients and appointments – as much as I love my job, I realise I needed a break.

My song of the week – Adeles “Lovesong” – check it out. It’s golden!

AND….I had a facial which is a very rare treat and my dry winter skin thanks me.

    Keep it coming Caz!
