Feel Good Friday

Thought of the Day
This is my weekly segment on Mojito Mother. Tell me about your Feel Good Friday in the comments below.

Words of Wisdom

When you slide down the banister of life, make sure all the splinters are facing the right way.

Friday Funny

Kalyra: Mummy, can I have some more milk?

Me: I don’t want you to have anymore before bed. You’ve only got undies on and if you drink too much you might wet the bed.

Kalyra: Well… I won’t wet the bed now. I’ll wet the bed later.

Weekly Affirmation

Everything I do is a Success.

Feeling Good

This week, I am really feeling like I have kicked the First Trimester lethargic sickness and amazing things are happening with our blogs. We  decluttered, made huge traffic goals with y travel blog and launched this mummy blog!

Room For Improvement

I’m working on getting myself out of bed earlier so I can practice yoga and meditate. Finding that snooze button way to sticky. Let’s see how I go next week.

Thought of the Week

Three billion people on the face of the earth go to bed hunry every night, but four billion people go to bed every night hungry for a simple word of encouragement and recognition.- Cavett Robert

You don’t have to be doing big things to help make the world a better place. One of the best things you can ever do is offer someone a smile and a kind word. Imagine if we all spent our days doing these simple acts of kindness to others how many world issues just may be erased?

Your Turn to Share Tips:

Love the new blog project, Caz. And I like your tag line – “laidback, fun, and fresh with a spicy kick” – perfect.

I spent five days in New York City this past week and talked to so many very nice, smiling locals (which may surprise peope who have a preconceived notion about New Yorkers). You’re so right about the importance of smiles. They’ve made my day more than once and I hope that I’ve made a difference in someone’s life with a smile, too.

Thanks Cathy! Smiles break down all sorts of barriers, and they make you feel good too. Is New York warming up yet? What a wonderful five days it must have been!

It looks like you guys are still loving life. I don’t know if you’ve seen Amy’s newer blog at all but it could compliment yours as well. http://www.goodideasandtips.com
