How to get lucky + inspiring quote

I’m not a big believer in luck. Perhaps the only way I see it being the truth is the place where you were born.

I’ve always been told how lucky I am to have a lifestyle of travel and now a successful blogging business.

I hate it when people say that to me. Not on an irritation level, but because I feel they are disregarding their own power to create the life they really want. Lucky is just an excuse to say why you can’t have something.

It’s not true. You can totally create the life you want you just have to start creating it.

We were chatting with Instagram rockstar @LaurenepBath this morning on our travel podcast (will be live in a couple of weeks). She’s truly an amazing person and a perfect example of how you can create this amazing life if you commit to it with passion, purpose, fun and the intention to serve.

We spoke about the concept of lucky and how many people say that to her in regards to her success with photography, Instagram and snapping amazing sunrise photos.

“What people don’t see is that even though I  captured this amazing sunrise image, I was up at 4:30am in order to do it and I took about 300 shots in order to get the right one.”

I discovered this quote this morning which I shared in my how to travel plan post on y travel blog.

I do believe in luck in the way that it comes to those who are ready to receive it. A ton of work and a healthy mindset goes into creating your own luck.
