20112 has been pretty powerful for me so far.

I think I will call it the year I got my Mojo back for real.

I had been struggling for several years, and just could not get myself together. Putting the mojo back into your life is not easy, especially when you have to try and figure it out for yourself.

I am working on putting together a course to help people follow some specific steps and tasks to do it so they don’t waste years on tears and disappointments.

It really is easy once you learn how.

I’m going to share personal stories and results with you in the meantime.

I decided that this year, I was going to work on improving my writing. I think I have finally accepted that this is what I want to do with my life. I realised I hadn’t accepted it before, because I did not believe in myself enough.

I made a decision to do it. It was not a wishy washy decision, a I want to or I hope, it was an I’m am.

A decision is not a decision until it is backed by commitment. The word decide comes from the latin root ‘caedere,’ which means to cut off from all other options.

Sometimes we say we are going to do something, but we aren’t backing it up by total commitment, which is why we end up not following through.

Once you decide that there is no other option you then have to take action to bring forward into your life what you want.

Do you need to do any courses? Should you take on a mentor? Do you have to make a few extra phone calls? Create a document? Start writing the first chapter of that book?

Don’t let procrastination take a hold of you, get started straight away, even if it is a baby step.

Usually during this stage all those doubts and fears will come up and you will want to quit, but you won’t because you made a decision remember?

I decided that I wanted to improve my writing. I put it out there and started looking for courses. It was only a week later that an opportunity to take the Sydney Writers Centre Travel Writing course appeared and then not long after a couple of mentors arrived who are helping me tighten and improve my writing.

Three simple steps to using your mojo to create magic

1. Make a Decision

2. Take Action

What are your action steps? How can you bring forth in your life what you want?
