I’ve been trying to lose weight lately. It is part of Operation Get My Life in Order to improve my health.

I was also bridesmaid at Craig’s sister’s wedding on Saturday. A role that will get any woman wanting to shed a few kilos.

One of my healthy eating strategies involved cutting down on the amount of bread I eat. A couple of months ago I noticed Vita Weat Lunch Slices sitting on the shelf in the supermarket on sale.

I decided I would give them a try, after all I’ve always eaten Vita Weats, and I liked the idea of one big enough to eat like a sandwich,

What really grabbed my attention though was the variety of unique flavours they have, especially the chia seeds. I had been learning a lot about them and knew they were the next big “superfood.”

I love me some superfoods.

I tried the Vita Weat slices for lunch and loved them. They were full of flavour and felt light and healthy. No more bloated bread belly.

I have had them almost every day for lunch for a few weeks. Today’s one was sundried tomato and basil tuna with avocado and spinach on the sunflower, pumpkin and canola slices.

I was excited to see them at the Bloggers Brunch last week and took a bag of Vita Weat Lunch Slices home.

I asked if I could have a hamper to giveaway to our readers so they could also taste how delicious they are.
