8 Things I love This Week

Time again, to focus on what has been so great about this past week.

Created by our fabulous in house artist, Kalyra Makepeace. This is Kalyra’s gift to her new baby sister, to welcome her into our beautiful family.

Maternity Leave

I am officially out of work and it feels great. I love that a job I do not love will not be renting so much space in my head anymore! Gone are the early morning wake up calls asking me to come in and teach.

The sunny spring day just matches the mood I feel at having my life back to do what I want. Spend time with my family, improving my health, working on my passion and creating lots of wealth. Bring it!

Baby Shower

I had a lovely baby shower with family and friends on the weekend. We had a relaxing time at my favourite cafe. No planning, preparing or cleaning. Just coffee, cake and conversation. Oh and some really cool prezzies as well.

Always a Winner

I love Pete Murray. He has been off the music scene for a couple of years. I was so glad to hear his latest song and that distinctive smoky voice, which I think is a winner.

Baby Bjorn Products

I haven’t even used these yet and already I am in love. I received a Baby Bjorn Miracle Carrier and travel cot this week. We used a portable cot with Kalyra a lot. It was big and bulky and difficult to put up. This is lightweight, compact and I put it up in two seconds. I love the feel of the material and just how cute and cosy it is. Can’t wait to travel with it.

And of course there is the softness of the miracle carrier. I used a baby sling with Kalyra. I loved being hands free, but found it a little bulky and awkward. I was always terrified she was going to fall out of it. I can’t wait to give this one a try.
